Gov. Wike declares Rivers a ‘Christian state’, receives accolades

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister for aviation, have commended the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, for declaring the state “a Christian state”.

In a statement via twitter on Thursday, the former minister described it as a display of courage and faith.

He wrote:

“I have not seen my friend Nyesom Wike, Gov. of Rivers state, for some time so I shall use this medium to commend his courage and faith by boldly declaring that Rivers state is a Christian state and shall always be one. The Lord honors those who honor Him. Well spoken my brother.”
