A group of Tiv youths under the aegis of Tiv Unity Forum, TUF, on Thursday 15 April, reportedly honored the National President of the Meyetti Allah Kauta Hore Association, Bello Bodejo, with a peace award.

The news has stirred heavy reactions online.

Leader of the forum Rev. Pastor Solomon was quoted by Fulani News Media to have accused the Governor of Benue State of not representing the nation.

Solomon said; “He is compel to lead these officials in order to prove to the World that the Fulanis and Tivs are brothers and sisters despite all the Political propaganda online social media platforms.”

Badejo was said to have expressed his appreciation towards their kind gesture saying; ‘I promised to be a good Ambassador for the betterment of our future and that of our children.”

Bodejo had in 2018 claimed responsibility for killings in Benue State, Plateau and ther parts of the country, accusing farmers of rustling cows.
