BREAKING: Former Zamfara Gov, Abdulaziz Yari arrested by EFCC

Former Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

This comes days after the agency arrested former governor of Imo state, Senator Rochas Okorocha.

According to Premium Times, the anti-graft agency is holding Yari over allegations bothering on corruption.

As of the time of filing this article, the former governor had been held for eight hours at the EFCC office in Sokoto.
