Adama J. Adama of Farm4Me bags Royal Award by Ooni of Ife

Adama J. Adama was again in the limelight last weekend as he got another deserved recognition for his ingenuity at creating social impact businesses that provide employment for the masses.

The CEO of Farm4Me, ViableX and Ceepass was honoured with the Royal African Young Leadership Award on Saturday, May 29, 2021.

The event held at Oduduwa Hall, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State was organised by the Ooni of Ife’s Royal African Young Leadership Forum (RAYLF), a youth development and capacity initiative. The 2021 award ceremony was declared open by Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife.

Adama bagged the award for creating massive employments through his innovative Agribusiness solutions in Nigeria on the second day of the 2021 Royal Young Leadership Forum’s 14-day event, themed “Africa of the Future: Unlocking the Hidden Treasures of the Continent.”

While declaring the 14-day event open, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi explained that the latest edition is premised on the progress achieved in 2020.

The RALF award is the third in succession this year for Adama and his company, Farm4Me Tractor Rental Services, the agritech company he started two years ago that has become a game-changer in the agribusiness sector of Nigeria and Africa.

On April 16, the company had scooped the award of Africa’s Leading Quality Farm Equipment Sales and Rental Service Provider of the Year 2021 at the 7th African Quality Achievement Award. A month earlier, It also added to its kitty the international award of West Africa’s Best World-Class Digital Agricultural Investment Platform Brand.

Adama has distinguished himself as a serial Entrepreneur since his founding of the Enadama Group, which is the parent company of Viable X, Farm4Me and Ceepass. His various companies have impacted positively in their respective niches of the economy, with Farm4me being acclaimed for its revolutionary impact in the Nigerian agribusiness sector.

Beside his business genius, Adama is also gaining recognition for his philanthropy towards individuals, groups and communities.

In Apa LGA of Benue State for instance, he has been aiding development through his Project Otalaka.

He has contributed to the grassroots development in Apa with projects such as roads, drainages, culverts and electricity for communities in Apa LGA, Benue State.

He gave the police divisional office in Apa LGA a facelift and also renovated schools, and provided uniforms and academic materials to pupils.

Youths in the community have benefited from him in the areas of scholarship and yearly football tournament dubbed Apa Premier League (APL).

Women are also not left out of his charity as he provided food, clothes and fertilizers for over 3000 registered Widows and 200 women associations in Apa LGA.

Other empowerments include BVN registration and opening of bank accounts with the minimum deposit fully paid for by Honorable Adama. He has also been providing critical food items for the poor and vulnerable in rural farming communities where his company farms at scale.
