BREAKING: Cyprian Nyong becomes first Nigerian to receive COVID-19 vaccine

Dr. Cyprian Nyong of the National Hospital, Abuja is the first recipient of the #COVID19 vaccination in Nigeria.

Recall that the AstraZeneca vaccine arrived Nigeria earlier in the week amid jubilation.
Reactiong, former Vice President, who shared the video on his Twitter handle, thanked the healthcare workers for their efforts in combating the deadly virus.

He tweeted, “As Dr Cyprian Nyong of National Hospital, Abuja becomes the first recipient of the #COVID19 vaccination in our country; I wish to recognise the monumental work of healthcare workers. I hope that all Nigerians will eventually receive the jab.”
