Chieftaincy titles: Why Tuface Idibia won’t be honoured by Och’Idoma

Revelations have emerged on the real reason Idoma-born songster, Innocent Ujah Idibia, otherwise known as 2face (2baba) won’t not be among the receipts for chieftaincy titles on Saturday in Otukpo, the traditional stool of Idoma community.

IDOMA VOICE had exclusively reported that the traditional ruler of Idoma land and the custodian of Alekwu K’Idoma, HRM, Chief Elias Obekpa, would on 30 of June confer traditional titles of Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh.

The royal father would also bestow similar honour on Ambassador Dickson Akoh, the National Commandant of the Peace Corps of Nigeria and another prominent Igbo business man, whose name could not be ascertained at the time of this report.

However, an insider hinted this reporter that 2face, a native of Amufu Aijeba in Edumoga Ehaje was initially penned down for ‘Okolonye K’Idoma’ but he said he won’t be available on 30th.

The source said when the organizer reached out to Mr. Idibia through his manager, Efe Omoregbe, he simply said, “Sorry, he won’t be available.”
