The Department of State Security (DSS) has reportedly apprehended a 23-year-old individual named Fildausi Musa Ahamadu following her threats of self-harm and harm towards those she believed were responsible for the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Kano, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna.

An anonymous source has confirmed Ahamadu’s arrest.

In a viral video clip circulating in the city, the suspect claimed to be advocating for Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of the NNPP. In the video, Fildausi was heard verbally attacking the presiding judge of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal and issuing a warning that she would not hesitate to take drastic measures if she encountered her, even going so far as to mention the use of explosives.

Wearing a red cap in the same video, Ahamadu also directed threats at Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, the APC governorship candidate, cautioning him against revealing his location, or else she would resort to wearing a bomb vest for a destructive act. She further blamed Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima for the legal troubles faced by the NNPP in Kano.
