Fresh facts have emerged on the release of the seven victims of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack.

Recall that bandits had released seven of the captives last week a day after the attack on Kuje prison, which led to the release of some inmates.

However, a popular Bulama Bukarti, has quoted the families as telling Daily Trust that they paid about N800m ransom to secure the release of the victims.

He tweeted, “Families of the 7 victims of the ABJ-KD train attack released Saturday told Daily Trust that they paid N800m ransom.
“Each Nigerian paid 100m while the sole Pakistani, 200m. One freed captive said their captors jubilated wildly when they returned to the den with the Kuje escapees.”
