Mr. Bimbo Daramola, a former representative of Ekiti North Federal Constituency 1 in the House of Representatives, has made a triumphant return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) along with some of his followers.

A few years ago, Daramola had left the APC and joined the Social Democratic Party (SDP). However, a few months ago, he had a meeting with the incumbent Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, at the Government House in Ado Ekiti, which led him to reconsider his decision.

At Iree Ward 2, Bimbo Daramola was warmly welcomed back to the APC by the State Chairman, Barrister Paul Omotosho, and other party leaders, who expressed their joy over his return.

Barrister Omotosho stated that the party sorely felt the absence of Daramola, and his history is an integral part of the APC’s journey. He explained that the party earnestly requested his return, acknowledging him as one of the few leaders who made significant sacrifices for the party’s growth.

In his response, Bimbo Daramola expressed his happiness in reuniting with his people and pledged to continue supporting the growth and development of the APC. He thanked the party leaders and affirmed his consistent efforts to give back to his community using his positions and influence.
