Ministerial list: Idoma people should apologize to David Mark – Ortom’s ex-aide

Prince Yemi Itodo, a former media aide to Governor Samuel Ortom, has expressed his disappointment over the exclusion of Idoma people from the ministerial list submitted by President Bola Tinubu.

He believes that the Idoma community should apologize to former Senate President David Mark, suggesting that Mark had worked for their benefit.

In a recent statement, Itodo said Engr. Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev, the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Wannune, who made it to the ministerial list as a notable representative from Benue State.

He implied that if Prof. Utsev’s name had not been included, the candidacy might have gone to Barrister Jime, who was supported by Alia.

He further expressed disappointment with some prominent Idoma figures in the All Progressives Congress (APC) for not taking a stronger stand in advocating for their representation.

The exclusion of Idoma people from the ministerial list has left Prince Yemi Itodo concerned about the future challenges the community may face.

He urged the Idoma community to unite and reflect on their political choices and the impact it may have on their representation at the federal level.
