1. The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri has narrowly escaped death after a speeding truck rammed into two vehicles in his convoy on Saturday, November 26, 2022. It was gathered that the incident occurred shortly after the governor and some of his commissioners entered a black Mercedes bus after attending a wedding at Agga Mosque in Dougirei highbrow area of Yola, the state capital. The tipper truck crushed two vehicles in the convoy, leaving two policemen identified as Inspector Madu and Sergeant Isa injured.

2. Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, continued his push for votes in the Niger Delta region yesterday with a visit to Oporoza, the headquarters of Gbaramotu Kingdom, Delta State. Yesterday’s visit, during which the presidential candidate met with leaders and stakeholders in the kingdom located in Warri Southwest Development Area, came less than one week after he visited the state for a campaign rally in Warri town.

3. The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has come hard on his Labour Party (LP) counterpart, Peter Obi.
Tinubu mentioning Obi’s name is a disgrace to him. Tinubu stated this while speaking at a rally in Gbaramatu, Delta state on Friday. According to the former Lagos governor, the “wrong statistics” from Obi are not what Nigeria currently needs.

4. Nigerians are expressing divergent reactions to Nollywood actress Nancy Isime’s new curvy look. The actress posted her curvaceous body on Instagram on Friday and this got Nigerians talking Isime, a model and media personality posted a video of her showing off her new body with the caption “Natural beauty.”

.5. The founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has claimed that many churches abandoned the late gospel music minister, Sammie Okposo. Okposo died on Friday at the age of 51. Reacting, Suleman said those who are mourning him now never reached out to him during his trying period.

6. Senator Ned Nwoko has stated that Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike will end up in jail. Wike had in a video aimed a dig at Nwoko over the $418 Paris Club refunds. But reacting, Nwoko, in a statement issued by his Media Directorate, which he personally signed, vowed that it was only a matter of time for Wike to end in jail over his alleged corrupt practices.

7. Nigerians are worried over the recent photos of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo which surfaced on the internet. Fatoyinbo is the Founder of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) with headquarters in Abuja. Over the weekend, some Twitter users posted multiple images which showed an underweight Fatoyinbo.

8. The Gboko resident of Hon. Akaa Lim, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in  Benue State was set ablaze by suspected hoodlums on Thursday, barely 24 hours after he received a car gift from Governor Samuel Ortom of the state. Hon. Akaa Lim who was a House of Assembly aspirant while speaking with newsmen said he was in Makurdi, Benue state capital when he got a call at about 10am that his house in Gboko was on fire.

9. Neymar has been ruled out of Brazil’s next two World Cup games after sustaining ligament damage in his right ankle, says their team doctor. The 30-year-old forward was replaced in the 80th minute of Thursday’s 2-0 win over Serbia after a heavy tackle from Nikola Milenkovic.

10. The tournament hosts slipped to a second successive defeat in Group A on Friday, losing 3-1 to Senegal despite a spirited effort. That loss came after they were beaten by Ecuador 2-0 in their group opener on Sunday and leaves them with no chance of qualifying for the knockout phase after Ecuador and the Netherlands played out a 1-1 draw.
