1. Bola Tinubu, All Progressives Congress (APC) 2023 presidential candidate, has called on relevant authorities to go after Tuesday’s attackers of Kuje Medium Security Custodial Centre in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Tinubu who is also one of the leaders of the APC, made the call in a statement by his Media Officer, Mr Tunde Rahman, in Abuja.#

2. The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has reiterated its resolve not to support the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu in the 2023 general poll as strong indications emerged to contest on Muslim-Muslim ticket.

Reacting to the Muslim-Muslim ticket, Elder Biodun Sanyaolu, Assistant General Secretary, CAN, condemned the act, saying the move would not be supported by members.

A group under the aegis of Northern Professors Association has asked the top echelon of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to pick the executive secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), The Rev Yakubu Pam as running mate to the party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 poll, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The professors argued that Pam’s nomination would address the religious and ethnic questions needed to position the APC for electoral success in 2023.

5. A former member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Lanre Odubote, has urged Nigerians to rally round All Progressive Congress’s (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to win the next general election.

Odubote, who specifically appealed to electorate in the southern part of the nation to place less attention on religious sentiment in the choice of the running mate to Tinubu, said it was not possible that a Muslim-muslim ticket headed by the former governor of Lagos State, would jeopardise or threaten the interest of Christians in the country.

6. Rashidi Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State, has urged Nigerians to keep praying for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, not to be treated like the late self-acclaimed winner of the 1993 presidential election, Basorun Moshood Abiola.

Ladoja, who spoke at his Bodija, Ibadan country home shortly after this year’s Ed-el-Kabir prayers, said the sentiment on Muslim-Muslim ticket should not be an impediment to electing leaders.

7. A pro Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu group, Yoruba Oke-Oya Fun Asiwaju (YOFA), has said the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), is acceptable in the North like late MKO Abiola who won the 1993 presidential election.

Director-General of YOFA, Abdulfattah Olaitan Shittu, stated this in Zaria when he led members of his group on a courtesy visit to the Oba Yoruba in Zazzau Emirate, Alhaji (Bar) Ishak Bello, to seek his blessing and assistance in mobilisation of Yoruba community to participate in the 2023 general elections.

8. The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has disclosed how the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, may pave the way for the victory of his counterpart from the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu.
Primate Ayodele disclosed that Atiku will win the 2023 presidential election.
