Ado LGC security council makes stringent regulations to check insecurity
Disturbed by the rising number of kidnap cases and other security confrontations, the Ado Local Government Security Council has placed tough conditions to advance the security and safety of the people and their properties.
Rising from its first security meeting of the year yesterday, the Security Council headed by James Oche, the local government Executive Chairman, a Security Committee was constituted headed by the Ado DPO, DSP Bulama Usman to advance the enforcement of the prescriptions.
By the regulations which are to have emergency enforceability from January 18, 2021, all butchers, wood contractors / operators and Okada Ridders are to register with the security committee and all hotels in ado LGA are to henceforth maintain records of all their guests and their photographs. A failure upon which such hotels will be closed.
By the prescriptions all iron condemn activities are banned till further notice, while beer parlour operators must be registered with the security committee on or before Monday 18th January.
Commercial cyclists are not to operate before 6:30 am and should not operate after 9:00pm except for those on essential duty and the people are by the guidelines enjoined to always be in possession of their identity cards at all times.
Other members of the Security Committee are LT.G.O. Ndubuka OC Operation Whirlstroke (OPWS) Ado, Shima Clement OC DSCD Ado, Ochoga Abraham Commander Home Land Defence, Otokpa Ocheme Ogbu, Constabulary Police, and ASP Shuaibu Rabin of the New SWAT.
