Manchester City woes Harry Kane with £100m bid
Manchester City made an opening offer worth £100million for Harry Kane as they continue to shop for Sergio Aguero’s replacement.
With rivals Manchester United and Chelsea already trailing the striker, Manchester City look to have overtaken both clubs and are now the leading contender to snap up the striker.
The Spurs captain is valued at upwards of £120million and Tottenham keen to keep him despite the England captain believing he has a gentleman’s agreement with Daniel Levy. His latest decision puts the Tottenham in a great conundrum and they have reportedly started enquiries about replacement centre-forwards to replace the disgruntled 27-year old. Kane has stated that he will decide on his future right after Euro 2020 and fresh report adds that City are open to including players in addition to the cash offer, but Tottenham are expected to reject the bid.
He bagged a total of 32 goals for his club in all competitions at the just concluded season, but despite all that, he is yet to win a title over the years. This season’s closest he came to silverware was in the Carabao Cup where Spurs were beaten in the final by a treble-chasing Manchester City.
