As activities begin to gear up towards having local government polls in Benue State, a group of political gladiators under the aegies of Ado Restoration Ambassadors (ARA), has thrown its weight behind Comrade James Oche for the position of Chairmanship of Ado LGC.

In a communique signed by the group’s National Patron, Comrade Zion Ochapa Onazi and made available to the Press through the Publicity Secretary, Arch. Ori Ogaba, the decision to pitch its tent with Mr. Oche was as a result of the leadership qualities discovered in him, which ranges from accountability, trustworthiness, humility and above all, his relentless efforts at stabilising the party, PDP.
“His enormous role in the party can not be overemphasized. He is the most popular and only viable candidate that can match and defeat any other candidate from other political parties in Ado LGA.
“It’s against this backdrop and many other cogent reasons that we have come together to endorse the candidature of this amiable Comrade; to keep the tempo of the party alive”, the statement reads in part.
Impressed by the comprehensive  qualities and ideas in James Oche’s manifesto; the group unanimously agreed to do all within its capacity to support him through its national office. To this end, it has flagged off a fund raising programme with the intension to generate the sum of N100m through an appeal fund.
“We call on all sons and daughters of Ado Local Government Area, despite party differences, to come together and  support Comrade James Oche, for him to transform the council to its desired standard”, the group submitted.
‘Ado Restoration Ambassadors’, a branch of National Idoma Restoration Ambassadors (NIRA), is made up of Entrepreneurs, Merchants, Politicians, and Opinion leaders in Ado LGA and it has as its cardinal objective, the transformation and development of Ado LG and Idoma land, among others.
