Ex-international, Sam Sodje has advised current Super Eagles playmaker to join Brentford this summer.

Joe Aribo was one of the best player for Glasglow Rangers in 2021/22 season and he’s been sought after by a lot of Peemier League clubs including Aston Villa and Brentford.

With only one year left on his contract, Aribo will be allowed to sign a precontract agreement with other clubs in January.

However, Sam Sodje has advised the midfielder to join Brentford this summer.

The Brentford legend told allnigeriasoccer why Joe Aribo should choose Brentford over other Premier League Clubs “It’s easy. What people don’t know is that Brentford is in London and once you’re playing for a London team you always get reviews and the most important thing Brentford is a family club.

“The fans are incredible. If you are signing for Brentford, you know you are signing for a very good club, it would suit them.

“Let’s forget about everything else, they will get games, that’s the other important thing.

“It’s about going to somewhere that you will play games. Emmanuel has played in the Premier League before so he should be fine.

“Aribo coming in he has to go to a football club that he has to get games. If they can come to Brentford, it’s a great signing for Brentford and for them.”

The 25-year-old was instrumental to Rangers winning the Scottish Cup this season and reaching the UEFA Europa League final. He is expected to play for Nigeria against Sierria Leone in Abuja on Thursday, June 9.
