“Money can’t buy health” – Singer Teni opens up on illness struggle [VIDEO]
Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has shared her recent health struggles, emphasizing that wealth cannot guarantee good health.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Teni posted a video of herself receiving medical treatment on a hospital bed. She revealed that she had been battling malaria for two weeks, leaving her weak and unable to eat.
Calling on Oba Elegushi to address the mosquito problem in Ikate, Lagos, she wrote: “I was down with malaria. Oba Elegushi, we need to do something about the mosquitoes in Ikate.”
She further explained how the illness took a toll on her, causing weight loss. Despite her condition, she still performed at an event in Ondo, saying, “Amid the illness, I went to perform in Ondo because who will feed me? I can’t make a refund.”
