  1. The Ogun State Police Command revealed that a 37-year-old woman named Bilikisu Kazeem lost her life during a confrontation between law enforcement officers and kidnappers on Friday along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

    The incident resulted in the successful rescue of nine hostages who had been taken by the kidnappers. The confrontation took place as kidnappers abducted several travelers, including Philip Aivoji, the Lagos State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on the aforementioned expressway.

  2. The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has said President Bola Tinubu should be recognised by the Guinness World Records for “causing Nigerians the most hardship.”

    Recall that Tinubu had recently bragged that he deserved to be included in the Guinness World Records over his performances in the country since he assumed office.
