Nollywood actress Biola Bayo announces separation from husband
Popular Nollywood actress, Biola Bayo, has announced her separation from her husband, Oluseyi, citing irreconcilable differences.
The actress made the disclosure on Tuesday via her official Instagram page in a post that coincided with her birthday.
According to Bayo, the separation took place in April 2024, but she had kept it private until now.
“I’m sincerely sorry. I wished it worked, but it’s better to stay alive to tell the story. Please keep us in your prayers,” she wrote.
Reflecting on the emotional toll the past months have taken on her, the actress added: “While I go about making other people happy in the day, my pillow is drenched with my own tears almost every night for the past 14 months, but I gain strength from Christ who loves me eternally and gave himself for me.”
Biola Bayo and Oluseyi got married in April 2021. She was previously married to a UK-based man, simply identified as Ola, in 2012. That marriage ended in 2014.
