Actress Doris Ogala tries to take own life following Pastor Chris Okafor’s engagement to another woman

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala reportedly attempted suicide after discovering that Pastor Chris Okafor of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, popularly known as the Generational Prophet, had ended their relationship to propose to another woman.

According to reports, Ogala stabbed herself in the hand, causing heavy bleeding. Actor Digidi Dunhill, who shared a video of the incident and helped take her to the hospital, pleaded for urgent assistance. “Please I don’t know who this Chris is. Whoever you are, please you have to come to her aid because she cut her hand. Doris, are you trying to commit suicide?” he said.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the attempted suicide followed a video of Pastor Okafor’s engagement circulating online. On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Ogala publicly accused Okafor of abandoning her for another woman despite allegedly promising her marriage.

Speaking about their relationship, Ogala claimed she once became pregnant for the clergyman and accused him of financial exploitation, leaking intimate videos, and disrupting her personal life.

She alleged that Okafor shared her s3x and nvde videos with lawyers and others, causing her immense emotional trauma.

She said, “After everything, after promising me marriage and disgracing me like this, turning my life upside down, you want to marry? I come to present my own account because I saw the proposal video and it’s not adding up to me. My heart is broken. We have been dating since 2017, and you want to leave me and marry who?

“When I got married, you cried that I should leave the man. I left the man and came out. Who are you leaving me for? Who will marry me after sharing my miscarriage video? Your lawyer carried the video and gave it to my lawyer. My sex video with you, you carried my body and sent to your lawyer, and your lawyer sent it to another lawyer that sent it to my lawyer.

“After sharing my body publicly, you now want to marry after destroying my life. Was I behaving like this before you met me?”

The allegations and her attempted suicide come just days after Pastor Okafor’s engagement to another woman went viral, sparking widespread attention online.
