At least five people were injured after an Iranian ballistic missile struck the Jerusalem area on Sunday night, according to Magen David Adom (MDA).

Israel Police are currently sweeping the area for missile shrapnel and have urged the public to avoid the strike site.

In a statement, MDA said: “We observed a missile impact near a vehicle that sustained extensive damage. Initial medical treatment was provided to a 45-year-old man in moderate condition, along with several others with minor injuries. All the injured were evacuated to hospitals in the city by MDA ambulances.”
