BREAKING: Nigeria approves 30-day visa-free entry for Rwandans
Nigeria has now matched Rwanda’s policy by allowing its citizens to enter visa-free for up to 30 days, further improving travel ties between the two countries.
In a statement released on Friday, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) confirmed that all necessary steps have been finalized to roll out the policy, in line with a directive from President Bola Tinubu.
Tinubu is currently in Kigali, Rwanda, attending the Africa CEO Forum, which commenced on Thursday.
Ahead of the forum, the president held discussions with his Rwandan counterpart, Paul Kagame, focusing on enhancing diplomatic and economic cooperation between both nations.
The move to mirror Rwanda’s visa policy reflects Tinubu’s commitment to promoting pan-African unity and easier movement across the continent.
