Peter Obi, the Nigerian Democratic Congress NDC presidential candidate for the 2027 election, and his running mate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, are expected to hold a town hall meeting with youths and political stakeholders in Jos, Plateau State, on Friday.

The meeting, scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at Gowon Hall, Crispan Hotel, Rayfield, Jos, is expected to bring together supporters and youth groups from Plateau State and other parts of the Middle Belt.

The event is being organised by the Middle Belt Youth Council, The Big-Tent, the Obidient Movement and the Kwankwasiyya Movement.

According to the organisers, the meeting will provide an opportunity for Obi and Kwankwaso to engage with young people and party supporters, discuss political participation and outline their plans for the region ahead of the 2027 general election.

The organisers adopted the slogan, “Be There. Talk Your Mind. Our Vote Must Count Now,” to promote civic engagement and emphasise the importance of voters’ participation in Nigeria’s democratic process.
