The statement is titled ‘President Tinubu nominates new CBN governor and management team for senate screening and confirmation.’

In addition to the nomination of Dr. Olayemi Cardoso, President Tinubu also greenlit the nomination of four new Deputy Governors of the Central Bank of Nigeria, for an initial term of five years, subject to confirmation by the Senate.
