Chelsea new signing, Lavia suffers fresh injury setback

Romeo Lavia is anticipated to remain out of action until at least late November due to an unfortunate recent injury setback, as exclusively reported by the Daily Mail.

The Belgian international suffered an ankle injury during training last month, delaying his expected Chelsea debut following his £58m summer transfer from Southampton.

His return has been pushed back due to ligament damage resulting from the injury setback.

While Lavia has shown positive signs by transitioning from a protective boot to rehabilitation work in the pool, it will still take some time before he can fully recover and return to the pitch.

Although a November return is viewed optimistically, Chelsea is exercising caution, and Lavia’s involvement might extend into early December.

Chelsea are gearing up for their match against Arsenal, with hopes of striker Nicolas Jackson’s availability after undergoing wrist surgery following withdrawal from international duty with Senegal.

France defender Axel Disasi and England under-21 winger Cole Palmer faced setbacks during the international break due to thigh and dead leg issues, respectively.
