Don’t play for Nigeria – Bayern Munich captain, Neuer tells rising star Jamal Musiala
Germany and Bayern Munich captain, Manuel Neuer, has urged raising Bayern star, Jamal Musiala not to play for Nigeria or England but the German Senior national team.
Musiala who is presently playing for the English U20 national team, is still eligible to play for Nigeria and Germany until he is featured in a competitive match at U23 level.
The 17-year-old wonder boy has being on fire for Bayern Munich this season.
According to Neuer, he will do everything to ensure Musiala who played for Germany at U16 level before switching to the English youth team, returns to play for the German Machines.
“I would recommend talking to him and trying to get him to play for Germany,” Neuer told Bundesliga.com.
“He’s a very talented and good player who we need in our team, and who can play at the highest level,” he added.
