Oyi’hotu K’Idoma: Oche “G12” congratulates Gov. Dickson of Bayelsa on attainment of new traditional title (Photos)

Hon. Oche Joseph Godwin, a dignified son of the Idoma Nation and Chief Executive Officer of North Central Nigeria’s zenith Non-Governmental Organization, G12 Foundation has congratulated the Bayelsa State Governor and former Chairman of PDP Governors Forum, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson, has he was adopted as an “illustrious Idoma son” by the Idoma Area Traditional Council.

The award is in recognition of Governor Dickson’s friendship with Idoma people and numerous contributions to the empowerment of Benue sons and daughters in his state.

According to a letter personally signed by HRH, Agabaidu, Dr. Elias Ikoyi Obekpa, CON, Och’Idoma the 4th in 2019, Governor Dickson is to be conferred with one of the highest traditional chieftaincy titles in his palace on Saturday, February 8, 2020 in Otukpo, Benue state.

He said the title is to further cement the relationship that exists between the Governor, the Izon ethnic group and Benue people.

Dickson, who is also the Chairman of the South South Governors Forum, who since accepted the offer personally was live at the Och’Idoma’s palace in Otukpo to accept the tittle, which he said was an honour to him and the Izon nation.

Former President of the Senate, Distinguished Senator David Mark, was the chairman of the event, while the Governor of Benue State, Dr. Samuel Ortom who was represented by his Deputy, Chief Engr. Benson Abounu is the chief host.

Also present at the epoch occasion is Hon. John Sunday Uttuh AKA John Paul, Hon. Francis Ottah Agbo, Hon. Chris Adaba Adaba, Chief, Adakole Friday Elijah, Hon. Comrade Idah Ben Okopi, Hon.
