“Tinubu is not sick” – APC Chieftain insist
An inside source and a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has debunk claims that its presidential candidate for the 2023 election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is sick and recuperating in a London hospital.
It was gathered that the source, who was privy to the former Lagos State governor’s trip, said the 70-year-old is hearty and is in the United Kingdom (UK) to see his family.
“Tinubu is not sick. I saw him before he travelled on Saturday night to London,” Vanguard quotes the source as saying.
The health status of the APC presidential candidate has continued to generate concerns about his suitability for leadership of Africa’s most populous nation.
Recall that Tinubu, however, dismissed criticisms about his frail health, saying he does not need physical strength to be Nigeria’s president.
