Don’t give me credit for what I didn’t do – Peruzzi debunks writing song for Burna Boy

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tobechukwu Okoh, popularly known as Peruzzi, has refuted the widespread claim that he wrote one of Burna Boy’s hit songs.

Previously, Peruzzi had proudly stated on his social media platform that he had contributed to more than 252 songs in the Nigerian music industry.

Some of his followers on social media had claimed that Burna Boy’s hit song was written by Peruzzi and further criticized Burna for allegedly using many songwriters while his fans hailed him for his lyrical prowess, referring to them as “lost children.”

In response, Peruzzi emphatically debunked the speculations.

On his official X, Peruzzi wrote, “Don’t give me credit for what I didn’t do.”
