The Three Lioness of England have defeated Germany on home soil to win the Women’s EUROS on Sunday evening.

Three Lioness won the game 2-1 courtesy of Chloe Kelly brilliant Extra time goal to defeat the seven times champions.

Both teams couldn’t break the deadlock until the 62nd minute when Ella Tonne beautifully lobbed the ball over the German goalkeeper Frohms.

In the 79th minute, Germany drew level through a well taken finish from Lina Magull.

With Parity restored, both sides were playing end to end football until in the second half of extra time when the German defense failed to clear their line, allowing Chloe Kelly to shrug the ball into the net, leaving the stadium in complete victory chants.

A fully packed Wembley Stadium noise was louder than ever as the Three Lioness defended their lead to triumph.
