1. Rev. Fr. Dr. Innocent Ejeh, the first ordained Catholic Priest in Idoma land is dead. He was ordained on 18/8/1974. Fr. Ejeh, is a native of Ai’abba

2. The spokesperson to the 5th Osun Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, Ismail Omipidan, has described the claim by the Osun Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, that the immediate past governor employed 12, 000 workers as not only false but unfounded. He challenged the Government to publish the list of the purported 12, 000 workers, asking, “What is the entire workforce of the State?”

3. The Osun State House of Assembly, on Monday, frowned on the decision of the state’s newly inaugurated governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, to rename the state from “State of Osun” to Osun State. The Assembly argued that the anthem, crest and flag of the state was an enactment of a law assented to on December 18, 2012, and no person can exact force to change it.

4. The Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has secured the conviction and sentencing of a Corps member, Osisi Ikenna Nicholas to one month community service for his involvement in internet-related fraud.

.5. The Federal Government has advised Nigerians traveling to the United States and Europe to take extra precautions to avoid being dispossessed of their belongings. Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, gave the advice on Monday, November 28, at a news conference in Abuja.

6. Former Anambra State Governor, Chukwuemeka Ezeife has said the Ohanaeze Ndigbo should sponsor the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi to victory. Ezeife was reacting to Ohanaeze’s endorsement of Obi for the presidency. The elder statesman urged Ohanaeze to move above endorsing Obi to ensure he wins in 2023.

7. Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media has stated that his principal can’t wait to leave office in 2023. According to Adesina, being in power comes with a lot of work with little appreciation from Nigerians. He disclosed this on Channels TV on Sunday night while reacting to Buhari’s remark that he can’t wait to leave power.

8. Osun Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke has sacked 12,000 workers and ordered the dethronement of three monarchs barely 24 hours after his inauguration. The Governor also nullified the appointment of 30 Permanent Secretaries and suspended the chairman and members of Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC). The affected monarchs include Akinrun of Ikinrun Oba Yinusa Akadiri; Aree of Ire Oba Ademola Oluponle and Owa of Igbajo, Oba Gboyega Famodun. He ordered the monarch to vacate the palace, asking security operatives to take over.

9. The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola has said that the Federal Government of Nigeria has identified at least 100 high-risk financiers of Boko Haram, in its fight against the menace. Aregbesola made this known at the 3rd Ministerial Conference on Counter-Terrorism Financing, with the theme, “No Money for Terror” in India.

10. Nollywood actress, Shan George, has warned those who do not acknowledge her or render help during her time of need not to bother mourning her death. She said this in a video shared via her Instagram page on Sunday while lamenting the lack of support for one another. George warned the ‘frenemies’ not to post her pictures when she dies.
