How Buhari destroyed Nigeria – Sunday Igboho

Oruba Nation advocate, Sunday Adeyemo, commonly known as Igboho, made strong allegations on Friday, accusing former President Muhammadu Buhari of contributing to the deterioration of the Nigerian economy.

Igboho asserted that Buhari left a struggling economy for President Bola Tinubu to inherit.

Speaking to his supporters in Oyo State, Igboho emphasized that Tinubu cannot solely be blamed for the economic challenges facing the nation.

Addressing the crowd in Yoruba, Igboho called upon fellow Yorubas to come together and reclaim control of the Southwest from armed Fulani herders.

He stated, “Tinubu did not wreck the government; my frustration lies with my fellow Yorubas. During Buhari’s tenure, I repeatedly urged for unity to break free from this hardship. Buhari’s leadership lacked solutions.

“I advocated for separation from the Fulani because a unified Nigeria is not feasible, but my calls were disregarded. Now, Buhari has bequeathed a crippled government to Tinubu.

“While some Yorubas lament their hunger, have you seen Igbos crying out? They’ve expelled Fulanis from their territories and resumed farming, exercising control over their lands.

“Why can’t Yorubas unite and reclaim the Southwest from the Fulanis, enabling our elders to return to their farms?”
